Futures Assessment & Strategic Plan
While at other offices, DfA members helped to lead a strategic planning effort to ensure that the University of Hawaii at Manoa, a world-renowned research institution, would be well-positioned to navigate coming challenges in higher education. To help the institution understand the changes headed their way, we led a futures assessment that directly shaped the resulting Framework for the Future, a long term strategic plan.
Findings influenced a suite of spatial strategies to improve utility of facility infrastructure, circulation and mobility, gathering experiences, campus character, and resilience over time.
